“The scientific advances made in the fields of Immunotherapy and personalised medicine presented at the latest AACR meeting in Orlando are impressive. I found the first-in-human trial of an off-the-shelf allogeneic CAR T-cell therapy targeting CD70 expressed in metastatic renal cell carcinoma (RCC) especially interesting. Also of note were the promising findings from clinical trials using bispecific antibodies for solid tumours, such as head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC); encouraging results for future development.”
